Important Dates
May 14 - Grade 6
Orientation - Our feeder schools will be joining us from 10-1pm
on Tuesday, May 14th so grade 6 students will get a feel for
what it's like to be in junior high. On that day, our grade 7
students will follow a grade 8 schedule and grade 8 students will
follow a grade 9 schedule. Everyone will get a feel for what it will
be like in September when a new school year begins.
May 15 - Grade
seven students will receive their final immunizations for the year
on Wednesday, May 15.
May 16 - On
Thursday, May 16, there will be an information session at 6pm for
those who have children entering grade 7 in September. Grade 6
students are welcome to attend the Graham Creighton Junior High
dance at 6:30 on May 16 (after the information session)
May 17 -
Professional development day ~ no classes for students

result, you may experience difficulty in reaching teacher extension
numbers. if you have a message for any of our teachers, we would ask

Parents are reminded to call safe arrival if your child is absent from school. You can leave a message anytime day or night for absences by calling 464-5164.
GCJH Breakfast Program
Our morning breakfast
program is available on Tuesday and Thursday from 8:15 to 8:45. It
is a Continental Style breakfast (bagels, toast, fruit and white
milk).

Electronics
Please be advised that electronic devices are not permitted inside the
school. This includes personal stereo devices, MP3 players, headphones,
video games, Smart Phones, etc. Graham Creighton Junior High School and
Halifax Regional School Board are not responsible for any electronic
devices that may be lost or stolen.
